Born in Brooklyn, New York, Kim moved to Florida with her family in the late 80s.  Kim is a former 19th Circuit Assistant State Attorney, where she prosecuted both misdemeanor and felony cases.
 
 
She then began practicing family and divorce law before branching out on her own.
